(October 2018) The information and dissemination campaign "Ham Passion Tour" promoted by the Interprofessional Association of the Iberian Pig (ASICI), under the brand Iberian Hams of Spain and the European Union (EU) have shown in Marseille, from October 30th to November 3rd, the peculiarities of a unique gourmet product in the world, originating in the Iberian Peninsula and the result of a passion for the natural and the authentic. Today, it has become a symbol of European gastronomic culture and tradition.
Marseille residents, tourists, media, foodies and lovers of gourmet foods have had the opportunity to contemplate in this Ham Truck how master cutters perform the art of cutting with care, a meticulous and demanding professional activity that allows you to taste the Iberian Ham in its maximum splendor. The road show will also visit other cities such as Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool or Mexico.
The promoters of the campaign have chosen the avant-garde and multicultural Marseille as one of the epicenters of outreach activities given its Mediterranean and international character, being one of the main gateways to France.
